3 performed on this day in 1988 at Barrymores in Ottawa, Canada.
This was the first concert on 3’s sole tour to cross the border from the United States to Canada. Keith Emerson, Robert Berry, Carl Palmer and the touring band had thus far been playing predominantly in the northeast along the coast, favoring the state of New York.
As a point of interest, this concert was only the second time Emerson, Lake & Palmer or one of their two spinoff groups had performed in the city of Ottawa. The first time had been in 1971. They would only come back once more, in 1993 during ELP’s Black Moon Tour.
There is no known recording of this concert.
