Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California.
ELP were at this time on their Works Tour. This tour saw them traveling throughout North America. They were supporting the first of two albums to bear the ‘Works’ name, which had been released in March.
On some dates, such as this one, they were joined by the band Journey. Journey had yet to release their most popular song, “Don’t Stop Believin'”, at his point in their career.
There is no known recording of this particular concert.
