Rainbow performed on this day in 1980 at the Palais des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.
Rainbow were at this time on their Down to Earth tour, undertaken to support the album of the same name. This was the final date the group performed in France, having already performed in Strasbourg, Cambrai, and Grenoble. A review of this concert made note of the poor sound, but claimed that the group, specifically guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, did quite well.
This concert is known to have been recorded, and is in circulation online.
