Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day in 1974 in California.
There is conflicting information as to which particular place the group performed at. There is some reporting that the group performed at the Municipal Auditorium in Sacramento; namely, the local paper reported the fact about a month prior to the actual concert.
It is more likely, however, that the band performed at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim. A poster exists advertising two dates, this one and a date the following day. The February 2nd Day was recorded and would become one of the longest-titled records to ever be released.
ELP were at this time on their Brain Salad Surgery Tour, undertaken to support the album of the same name.
There is no known recording of this particular concert.
