Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day in 1978 at the Civic Center in Amarillo, Texas.

ELP’s Works Tour was by now slowly but surely coming to an end with only a handful of days left in February and only a few planned in March. It would be the last tour the band undertook for fourteen years. In that time, they managed to criss-cross as much of North America as they possibly could, going as far north as Montreal and Toronto and as far south as Texas and West Virginia.
No recording of this concert is known to exist.

The venue at which they performed, the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum, is also called the Cal Farley Coliseum based on outside research. It has a total maximum capacity of 7000 (source).
