Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day in 1977 at the War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester, New York.
ELP were at this time on their Works Tour. This was the last date on the tour prior to their first crossing of the Canadian border. While they would spend the majority of their time on tour in the United States, they performed a few Canadian dates as well. They would even begin the 1978 portion of the tour in Montreal the following January!
For the second day this week, I could find no evidence that this concert even took place, with one site I often use not even listing that this date took place. There aren’t any ticket stubs, posters, and no recording extant. However, given the next concert took place in Toronto, it makes sense, given the two are only about three hours apart.
