Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day in 1977 at the Corral in Calgary, Canada.

ELP were at this time on their Works Tour. This North America-based tour saw them traveling throughout the US and Canada in support of the two albums bearing the “Works” title. On this first leg of the tour, only Works, Volume 1 appeared on the setlist until the grand finale at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal. The second and third legs of the tour drew more heavily from Works, Volume 2.
This date at Calgary was the northernmost date on the entire tour. From here, the band continued on to the southwest. They would go down the west coast of Canada and the United States from here before going east once more.
There is no known recording of this particular concert.
