Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day in 1977 at the Charlotte Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.

ELP were at this time on their Works Tour, which began as a testament to the band’s ambition and continued on to become a statement on their resilience when they were forced to part with their orchestra. They were currently traveling through the American south, as they would do until early July, when they would abruptly switch to the Northeast.
There is no known recording of this particular concert.
