Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day in 1978 at the Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut.

The words “a cross country concert” on this ticket are very apt, as that was what ELP’s Works Tour had been. Now wrapping up, it had been going since mid-January, visiting cities of all sizes and venues of many different capacities. Most of them had been large colisea built soon before the genesis of the Arena Rock. ELP even had time in late February to conduct a benefit concert for Arizona State University!
This concert was recorded, making it one of the last bootlegs of ELP in the 70s. It is currently in circulation online.
