On This Day (May 5)…Difficult to Cure Rochester

Rainbow played on this day in 1981 at the War Memorial Auditorium in Rochester, New York.

Ad for the show. I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest the spelling of Rochester is not in fact a typo. Retrieved from here.

Rainbow were at this time within the last ten days of finishing out this leg of the Difficult to Cure Tour. On this leg, they were joined by Canadian guitarist Pat Travers. On some nights, Rainbow were the top-billed act, while Travers received top billing on other nights.

There is no known recording of this particular concert.
