Emerson, Lake & Palmer performed on this day in 1970 at the Cirkus Krone in Munich, Germany.

ELP were at this time on their debut tour, undertaken to introduce themselves to the record-buying public. Up to this point, most of their concerts had occurred in their native England. The day prior to this concert, they began performing in West Germany as well.
This concert was the first major time ELP experienced a difficult audience. According to Greg Lake in his autobiography, a riot took place after the concert was oversold. He even recalled water cannons needing to be brought in due to the ferocity of the riot!
There is no recording of this particular concert.
