Rainbow performed on this day in 1979 at the Wendler Arena in Saginaw, Michigan.

Rainbow were at this time on their Down to Earth Tour, undertaken to support the album of the same name. This album saw them begin to shift their sound to a more chart-friendly one, especially with songs like their cover of Russ Ballard’s “Since You’ve Been Gone”. Almost their whole setlist at these early concerts was derived from Down to Earth.
There is no known recording of this particular concert.
